Sexual Abuse
Sexual Abuse includes any form of sexual behaviour or sexual advances, whether verbal, non-verbal or physical, intentional or unintentional, that is perceived by the person undergoing it as unwanted or coerced, and/or occurs within an unequal power relationship (e.g. trainer-pupil, teacher-pupil, adult child). Think of being forced to satisfy someone sexually, having to undress in front of someone, being touched or being forced into a body opening. A related term is fornication. The term "fornication" means acts of sexual intent contrary to the socio-ethical norm. If you or someone close to you is suspected of sexual abuse, it is important to call in an expert lawyer. Sexual abuse is punishable under sections 244, 245, 247, 248a and 249 of the Penal Code. These articles prohibit all forms of sexual advances towards minors.
