Mr. Z. (Zahra) Boufadiss studied Law at the University of Amsterdam where she obtained her master's degree in criminal law. This was followed by a master's degree in legal philosophy at Leiden University. During her studies, Ms. Boufadiss gained practical experience at various law firms and the Public Prosecutor's Office. She was also a volunteer and board member of the Stichting Strafrechtswinkel Amsterdam for many years.
Mr. Boufadiss was sworn in as a lawyer in 2015. After working at Van Essen Advocaten and Jebbink Soeteman Advocaten in Amsterdam, she joined Meijers Canatan advocaten as an independent lawyer in March 2024.
Mr. Boufadiss exclusively handles criminal cases and assists both adults and juveniles. She specializes in complex violence cases (including life crimes), organized crime and drug cases.
In 2023, Mr. Boufadiss also completed the criminal law specialization at the Willem Pompe Institute. She wrote a biweekly column for many years and regularly comments on legal topics and current events in the media.
Mr. Boufadiss has entered into a partnership with Meijers Canatan Lawyers LLP pursuant to Section 5.3(b) Voda. The engagement agreement is entered into with Meijers Canatan Lawyers LLP.

Mr. Boufadiss has registered the following areas of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association:

This registration requires her to obtain ten training points in each registered area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
Because Mr. Boufadiss works at the Amsterdam office, she falls under the supervision of the Amsterdam Bar Association.
