Mr. P.P (Pieter-Paul) van Rhijn studied Tax Law and Notarial Law at the University of Groningen and received his master's degree in Tax Law from Leiden University. He also studied for a semester at the University of Florida where he became "best of class."
After first working for several years at various offices in Amsterdam's Zuidas district, he made the switch to criminal law in 2019.
Mr. Van Rhijn focuses exclusively on criminal cases and assists both adults and minors. In recent years, Mr. Van Rhijn has focused on organized crime, drug cases, violent (serious) crimes and cases involving tbs. Mr. Van Rhijn also assists victims in (serious) violence and vice cases.
Mr. Van Rhijn has entered into a partnership with Meijers Canatan Advocaten LLP pursuant to Article 5.3 under b Voda. The engagement agreement is entered into with Meijers Canatan Advocaten LLP.

Register of jurisdictions and supervision
Pieter-Paul van Rhijn has registered the following areas of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association:

- Casualty Law
This registration obliges him to earn ten training points in each registered area of law each calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
Because Mr. Van Rhijn works at the Utrecht office, he falls under the supervision of the Central Netherlands Bar Association.
