Embezzlement

Embezzlement is the unlawful appropriation of a good that belongs to another and that one already has in one's possession. Embezzlement is punishable in art. 321 of the Penal Code. The legal text can be found below:

 

Article 321
A person who intentionally misappropriates any property belonging in whole or in part to another person and which he possesses otherwise than through misdemeanour shall be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding three years or a fifth-category fine for misappropriation.
