Meijer's Canatan Advocaten is a non-Dutch law firm specialising in criminal matters. From our Kanzlei in Amsterdam, from our legal defences, there are people everywhere in the Netherlands on the scene. At each stage of the criminal proceedings, whether before a police vernehmung or a term of imprisonment.

We're a Full-Service Criminal Justice Kanzlei. This means, among other things, that we litigate before all courts, courts of appeal, the Supreme Court of the Netherlands and the European Court of Human Rights (EGfM). It is also important, however, that we can assist you in all procedural matters that relate to the criminal procedure. In the following areas of law, for example, we are looking at specific areas of expertise: (General) Criminal Law, Revision, International Criminal Law, Exemption and Overstatement (European High Court Feasibility), Association and Youth Criminal Law.

Qualität

The Kanzlei is very reminiscent of our fencing knowledge in criminal circles. Gabriel Meijers, for example, was one of the 10 best criminal prosecutors in the Netherlands, and together with Kerem Canatan, he is on the right-wing side of the case, dealing with the criminals on the Supreme Court (Oberster Gerichtshof der Niederlande). The judicial officers of our court of appeal always deal with hundreds of criminals, who are also regularly prosecuted in a media-sensitive manner. In large areas we can work as a team if necessary.

Our Chancellery is a member of the Non-Latvian Forest Chamber, the Non-Latvian Association of Criminal Justice and the Europe Criminal Bar Association.
